A quick reference for the languages of the web, data and the command line — what each is, how it runs, the syntax you actually use.
One page, one tab per language: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, SQL, Shell, Git, HTTP, networking, regex, Markdown, JSON and YAML. Each tab is the same shape — what the thing is, how it runs, the syntax you actually reach for — so once you have read one you can read all of them.
Start with the overview tab: a table of every language, what kind of thing it is and where it runs, and a diagram of how the browser, the server and the database talk to each other. Then jump to the tab you need. The topic index at the end is an A–Z of every term on the page, linked.
A reference you cannot update is a reference you stop trusting. This one is generated from a framework, so a new language slots in as a new tab and an old one is corrected in place — the link you saved keeps pointing at the current version.
Open the codebook and use it. It is the same page the author uses; nothing is held back for a paid version.
